Farewell to a Prophet.

The only Prophet I have ever known as a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints left this world yesterday to rejoin his wife and many family members on the other side of the veil yesterday.

I won't go through and list his accomplishments, as he would not want credit for them and you can find that information on any number of other web site.

I will do this; give you my testimony.

I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and only true church of God on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith did see the Father and the Son in the sacred grove, through the ministrations of the Angel Moroni he restored another testament of Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon. In restoring this book he was given the task of restoring the gospel to the earth. The Holy Priesthood was also restored through Joseph Smith, it is the same priesthood held by the Prophets of old. I will testify that this is the final dispensation of time, that the Church will not be removed again from the earth. That each Prophet from Joseph Smith through Gordon B. Hinckley were and are men of God, specially chosen to minister unto the inhabitents of the earth in their time. That the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is led has always been led and will always be lead by men of God. I have a personal testimony of the power of the Priesthood, as I have ministered unto my family and friends, lives have been blessed and saved through this priesthood. To my Prophet Hickley I say farewell, your example is a light on a hill to me and my family. Thank you good friend. In all truth and soberness I speak these words in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
